Plumb wore out

I had a good blog post planned for today, but I’m still tuckered out from the three sets of tennis earlier (5-7, 7-5 and 5-7 tie-breaker in the third). I think I used to be younger. Tomorrow for youse guyz!

All webbed up and nowhere to go

Continuing our “Tales from Limbo” during the period between finishing the books and having them all up for sale. By this time, the JeffreyMDaniels.com website is finished, meaning there’s nothing left to do to the site. Sure, there is an FAQ that’s a wee bit dated (does anyone even read those?) and the message board could… Read more »

I still have no dedication to my writing

Coming up with new ideas for my blogs isn’t easy.  After nearly five years and nearly 500 posts, inspiration is tough to come by.  That’s where my daily walks come in.  Turning “off” the brain during the walk allows all manner of creative thought to bubble up.  I will usually come up with the headline… Read more »

Coming up short

Mailing list fun

The second giveaway on Goodreads is over and it’s time to send out copies of What Next? to the lucky winners. I am excited to be shipping these books out and not just for the chance at more readers leaving reviews.  There are a lot of things I find fun about mailing lists.  I wonder… Read more »

Is my face red!

A special emergency Sunday edition of the blog for a big mea culpa! So there I am, cleaning the shower doors and mirrors when I am saved from my least favorite thing in the world (cleaning) by the sound of an email.  Now, normally, an email isn’t enough to get me to jump up and… Read more »

Editing as a second language

I mentioned recently that I had joined a review group to help drum up greater awareness for my books.  This is different from a writers group, a place where writers read and critique work within the group in order to improve the writing and the writer.  The purpose of the review group is strictly to… Read more »
